Agua de MadreCalling all budding Kathryn Bigelows. Agua de Madre has partnered with Curzon Cinemas to launch a film competition aimed at supporting and celebrating British female filmmakers. The pitch? They are asking women to share their lockdown stories or story from the past few months. The winning film will be chosen by a panel of judges, including actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw, director Sara Dunlop, chef Melissa Hemsley, producer Gabrielle Tana, and Curzon and Artificial Eye MD Louisa Dent. The winner will also receive a cash prize of £5,000, and their film will run as a trailer to Josephine Decker's new film Shirley.
