So many things have been cancelled in 2020, but the spirit of Christmas—n0t to mention the spirit of giving—is eternal. This year HGTV's holiday programming is jam-packed with competitions, heartwarming surprises, extravagant holiday displays, and even a world-famous Santa impersonator.

"We know how much our fans need escapist programming this year," Jane Latman, HGTV president said in a statement. "So, we pulled out all the stops to deliver something very special this holiday season."

Read on to learn more about HGTV's brand new holiday series, as well as its four specials.

Holiday Crafters Gone Wild

In this two-hour holiday special, four teams of craft aficionados will compete to create dazzling, over-the-top Christmas decor for a $10,000 cash prize. Author and TV personality Jay Manuel, will host this joyful competition where teams will be tasked with challenges like creating the best over-the-top tablescape to one-of-a-kind tree toppers. Emmy award-winning designer Kim Myles and celebrity party planner and lifestyle expert Michael Russo will sit in the judges seats.

Holiday Crafters Gone Wild premieres Friday, November 20, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Biggest Little Christmas Showdown

The four-episode series spotlights the country’s top miniaturists as they vie to build the merriest mini holiday houses, complete with all the festive, tiny trimmings. Actor James Monroe Iglehart will host this quirky competition, while designer Genevieve Gorder and miniatures experts June Clinkscales and Dave Asling will judge. The winner will be awarded a grand prize worth $50,000, as well as have their miniature replicated into a full-size vacation retreat!

Biggest Little Christmas Showdown premieres Friday, November 27, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

My Lottery Dream Home: Holiday Extravaganza

Talk about a present! In this special holiday edition of HGTV's hit show My Lottery Dream Home, David Bromstad will aid families in decking out their homes for the season. Unlike the original series, these families will not actually be lottery winners; however, Bromstad will be helping them decorate as if they are, all while sticking to a modest budget. You can expect to see stunning transformations (think: from living room to lush Christmas tree forest), as well as exterior decorations so extravagant, folks passing by will have to take a picture.

My Lottery Dream Home: Holiday Extravaganza premieres Friday, December 11, at 8 p.m. ET/PT

You’ll be Home for Christmas

This new show will introduce Albie Mushaney, who is a real estate agent, but also... a world-renowned strongman and Santa impersonator (check out his Instagram here!). In each episode, he'll help first-time homebuyers find their forever home just in time for Christmas. His festive family will tag along as they make homes extra "ho-ho-home-y" with special seasonal touches, such as a fully decorated tree with gifts underneath, stockings hung on the chimney, and freshly baked cookies and hot cocoa available at the door. Talk about the perfect holiday staging!

You’ll be Home for Christmas premieres Wednesday, December 18, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Surprising Santa Claus

In this cheerful special, HGTV will renovate and decorate the town of Santa Claus, Indiana (yup, it's a real place!). But besides the entire town getting a sparkly, festive makeover, two families will each be surprised with a home renovation. Lara Spencer, of Flea Market Flip, will work with a team of designers, contractors, and volunteers to pull off these makeovers.

Surprising Santa Claus premieres Friday, December 25, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
