The Yule Jude Hazy IPA & South Pole Elf Christmas Ale will be available in a 'Holiday Twelve' variety pack or standard six packs.
CLEVELAND — Platform Beer Co. is adding to its beer selection with the release of two new holiday specials.
Available in both the "Holiday Twelve" variety pack and single six packs, the South Pole Elf and Yule Jude Hazy IPA are already hitting shelves at retailers that carry Platform beer in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky, New York, and New Jersey.
"Who says we can only drink dark, sweet, spiced-up beer all holiday season? We're starting a whole new Christmas tradition this year. We present, Yule Jude," Paul Benner, co-founder of Platform Beer Co. said in a press release. "Based on our popular Haze Jude recipe, this Holiday, enjoy a Hazy, juicy, hopped-up, full-bodied libation with a touch of cinnamon."
The Yule Jude, coming in at a firm 6% alcohol by volume (ABV), has notes of citrus with the tang of blood orange and your classic winter spice of cinnamon. Deemed the "anti-holiday ale, holiday ale," this one-of-a-kind Holiday IPA is a great change of pace from your traditional seasonal beers.
Also making its debut is the South Pole Elf Christmas Ale. In line with your standard Christmas ale, this beer presents a malty sweetness with flavorful gingersnap cookie and holiday spices including nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon weighing in at a hefty 8% ABV.
Beginning in November, online shoppers will have the opportunity to add-on holiday gifts and cards from local businesses to their beer delivery orders. More information on this will be released in the coming weeks.
