dogol.indah.link

Weird year or not, it looks like Christmas pop-up season is in full swing here in Nashville. Several wintery, tinseled out bars serving festive, soul-warming cocktails are on offer throughout the holidays all across the city, with social distancing measures in mind.

Tune in here for a regularly updated list of the holiday-themed pop-ups around the city.

Sip cocktails in a wintry tent “ice cave” beside the pool at the Westin’s 27Below

In a play on winter ice caves this holiday season, The Westin Nashville will activate a “27Below” theme at the signature rooftop restaurant, L27, adorning the outpost with blue and white décor accentuated by furs and everything you’d expect for a ‘27Below’ theme with specialty food and drinks, of course.

Dream Nashville’s Parlour Bar has once again transformed into a booze-infused holiday spectacle — a walk-in only Whoville-themed escape with plenty of appropriate cocktails and treats. Sip on a very 2020-appropriate “lump of coal”, made with Old Forester bourbon, muddled blackberries, pecan-infused rye whiskey and cream — topped with a bit of charcoal. Or choose rum-spiked hot chocolate or a grinch flip — Diplomatico Matuano rum, allspice, matcha infused cream, and egg with a splash of club soda. Whobar runs Thursday from 4p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

From December until the end of the year, Island X-Mas at Chopper Tiki Lounge provides festive holiday decorations (and holiday robots) plus holiday tunes alongside fun, photo-worthy cocktails (think frothy eggnog in a reindeer mug or a “you’ll shoot your eye out” themed cocktail in an appropriately matching glass) in the festive East Nashville tropical bar. Every Sunday Chopper will screen a holiday classic, and drinks specials plus souvenir mugs will abound. Holiday cocktails will also be available in to-go form in small and large portions. Open Wednesday through Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m., plus Sunday brunch from noon to 4.

HQ Beercade reactivates its popular Reindeer Games holiday pop-up — open from late November through January 1, 2021. The immersive holiday pop-up bar for adults over 21, is taking over Headquarters Beercade in SoBro this November and December starting on November 20, 2020. Guests can expect an experiential winter wonderland, including 3D Christmas tree displays, thousands of ornaments, 2,000 feet of twinkling lights, a life-size Santa’s sleigh photo op, and festive food and cocktails. Expect creative riffs on classic Christmas drinks and holiday flavors, too.

Following COVID-19 safety protocols, tables at HQ Beercade are socially distanced, extra hand sanitizing and wash stations are available throughout the restaurant, all employees are masked and temperature checked, and installations are regularly cleaned. Reservations are highly encouraged.

This year’s holiday happening at Hidden Bar is Hidden the Snow — an all-white winter wonderland with custom winter drinks, glistening snowflakes, trees, and more. Open Thursday through Saturday, from 5 p.m. to close starting on Saturday, December 6 through February.

S’mores and Ski Chalet Vibes at The Lodge at The Pool Club | Virgin Hotels Nashville

The Lodge, a ski chalet-inspired winter pop-up, opened at The Pool Club at Virgin Hotels Nashville in late November. The Pool Club’s poolside cabanas will be transformed into heated cabins made even cozier with fur throws and pillows. Guests can take in the festive twinkling string lights, frosted pine trees, and faux snow while warming up by fire pits and roasting s’mores while sipping on hot toddies and vodka-spiked peppermint hot chocolate. Be sure to check out the weekly happenings, including Fireside Fridays and Snow Day Saturdays. The Lodge is open Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 11:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 11:00pm. To reserve a heated cabin experience, email ivy.manfredi@virginhotels.com

Sip holiday themed bites in a rooftop penthouse suite at Misfit Bar at the Fairlane Hotel

For the first year, the Fairlane is rolling out a toy-themed holiday pop-up, in one of the hotel’s top floor penthouse suites. Sip on festive cocktails in a stunning setting with great city views. Open daily, December 4 thru January 5, from 5 to 11 p.m.

Boozy Hot Chocolate and a Christmas Tree Forest at Candy Cane Jane’s

Perched above the newly opened America-vibed Jane’s Hideaway, Candy Cane Jane’s was the first holiday pop-up of the 2020 season. Open every weekend throughout the holidays. Candy Cane Jane’s is a forest of lit Christmas tree, tucked away on the sixth floor (featuring great views) above the self-coined “Tennessee supper club”. To enter — head into Jane’s and grab the elevator to the sixth floor for plenty of photo opps, socially distanced holiday vibes, and George Dickel-spiked hot cocoa.
