Bloom
Your holiday dessert is just as important as the main course. If you’re looking for some delicious Christmas treats to put on your table, head to Bloom Bake Shop. Try Bûche De Noël — which is a yule log made of chocolate sponge cake filled with cinnamon spice whipped cream and covered in chocolate bark, garnished in meringue mushrooms, fresh rosemary and cranberries — or a sour cream coffee cake. Or go classic with a vanilla layer cake that you can top with rainbow or holiday sprinkles for a festive twist. Holiday cakes start at $25 and can be ordered online Bloom also offers cookies, starting at $12 for a package of four, and breads starting at $7. 1851 Monroe St., 509-7669, bloombakeshop.com
