**Red Flag Warning for northern Holt County through Thursday evening**
April got off to a cold start with temperatures in the teens this morning.
However, we have warmed up quickly through the morning and we will end up in the low to mid 50s this afternoon with lots of sunshine.
While the wind will pick up in the afternoon, it will not be as strong as the last few days with 10 to 20 miles per hour winds expected out of the south.
The winds will keep up through the night which will keep temperatures in the 30s overnight.
We will launch up to near 70 degrees Friday with sunshine sticking around.
The winds will be on the increase again, though, with gusts in the 35 to 40 miles per hour range possible again.
Winds will be light Saturday before picking up again for Easter Sunday.
The holiday may see us hit 80 degrees and we will stay in that area Monday and Tuesday.
