Biweekly employees and student workers are strongly encouraged to submit their time cards, and their managers are encouraged to approve those time cards, as soon as work is completed and prior to departure for the upcoming holiday weekend, unless the employee will be working over the weekend.

Report holiday time if eligible for paid holidays

If you are eligible to be paid for the Chancellor Administrative Day on Friday, May 28, and for the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 31, you must record this time as “holiday” on your time card in order to receive pay.

An article with instructions and examples of this process, titled “Reporting time for university official holidays,” is available in the Oracle Cloud My Knowledge app. (Note: Remember to sign in to Oracle via Company Single Sign-On.)

If you will be working during the weekend, please ensure your time card is submitted as soon as you finish working and approved by your manager before 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1. Instructions for recording time worked during a university holiday are available in the article referenced above.

Approval deadline for May 16–29 biweekly period adjusted due to holiday

Due to the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 31, managers of biweekly employees should work with their team members to ensure timely submission and approval of time cards before 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1.
